Guide to Campus is a multi- cultural project led by current students and facilitated by the Office of Teaching & Learning. Running from the success of the previous video [click here to view] produced and directed by our previous Guide to Campus team members, the project has gone from strength to strength, featuring areas of the campus that enhance the student experience at Coventry University.
Introducing the new team members, who embarked on their Guide to Campus journey in May (2016). As the team look towards the new academic year, there is much excitement for the future release of Guide videos to help support current and prospective students.
Adis is studying MA Communication, Culture and Media and loves singing. She would like to bring to Guide to Campus her creative and media skills as a contribution to university: Adis is hoping to attract new students from around the world including her country, Indonesia!
Tolu is doing Masters in Communication, Culture and Media. She enjoys meeting new people and watching movies. Tolu aspires to contribute her medium of applying what she has learned as a student to the future experience of prospective students.
Abdulrahman Rukayyat Oyiza
Rukky is studying MSc Engineering and Management and her biggest hobby is travelling. Her main objective in terms of GTC was to learn from teammates from different courses as well as to make it fun and enjoyable for everyone. She believes that Guide to Campus granted her with ability to freely communicate and present without phobia!
Wenye He [Vera]
Vera is in her second year of Accounting and Finance. She loves yoga and making friends. Working with media was the main reason for joining the team and is very exciting for her. She would like to get professional work experience with media and contribute her own ambition to inform prospective students about CU.
Anastasia is studying BA Business and Marketing and is passionate about learning languages and experiencing new cultures. She is hoping to bring her marketing knowledge to the team to create a great promotional video. Anastasia believes that working in such a diverse team will benefit her professionally and allow to learn new skills.
Ade is doing Masters in Communication, Culture and Media. He enjoys listening to people and music and also loves art exhibitions. Ade is hoping to share what he has learned so far from prior experience and background in video production with the team and make himself a better professional in the process!
Cynthia is studying MSc Oil and Gas Engineering. Her hobbies are reading and travelling. She is hoping to bring her communication and teamwork skills to the GTC team. She is working on editing and media skills, which are new to her. Cynthia aspires to produce a great video to attract new students to Coventry University!
